PAYMENT TERMS
- You provide your credit card details to Clifden property Rentals
- A €40 deposit is deducted and we will activate one of our BER panel according to the above standard & discounted price list
- The BER Certificate is issued within 60 days of the deposit
- The balance of the fee is deducted from the credit card 60 days from date of deposit
Some Important Points to Know?
1. A BER Certificate lasts for 10 years
2. You must have BER when offering dwelling for rent or sale from 1st January 2009
3. BER is calculated based on major components of the dwelling (walls, roof, floor etc) also construction type, levels of insulation, systems for heat supply among other features.
4. BER makes the energy performance of a home visible to prospective buyers and tenants and enables them to take energy performance into consideration in the next house purchase or rental decision.
5. You will receive an advisory report which will help you to identify how you might improve the energy performance of your home.
6. There are fines of up to €5,000 for non compliance with the regulations.
